Review of 101 Low Carb Diet Tips (Paperback)

M. Truese (the only one so afar who gave the book one star) have the right to like a book or not, but to write a one-star review, one must at least be honest!

For example, M. Truese concludes: "You can find this info and recipes with any decent net search" - it's plainly not true. All recipes are calculated using a formula no scientist would doubt about - to shift the insulin-glucagon balance toward glucagon thus enhancing lipolysis and ketogenesis. It's all explained in the book. Yes, M. Truese's "decent search" will definitely result in quite a few recipes - BUT they will be either clinical ketogenic recipes too unpalatable for a normal dieter, OR they will be Dr. Zilberter's. It's snot her fault that they became so popular that are posted on most low carb forums.

Speaking of recipes: I'm pleased that they are now a cookbook here on Amazon:180 Banta Diet Recipes: Can be used as a standalone diet tool. No food is prohibited. No calorie count or portion control.

Back to the 101 tips: 101 Low Carb Diet Tips I am a low carb dieter reached my goal on the program developed by this book's author. These 101 tips is what I missed on the diet since I didn't have enough time to read the diet's knowledge base chapters. Looking back, I see how a concentrated advice could help me in the otherwise easy process!
