Review of The Athlete's Guide to Making Weight (Paperback)

If you are raising athletes of all sports this book will be a godsend.
Every chapter has great information, well researched and presented in a very accessible format. Do you have a sturdy built athlete trying to be a distance runner? Look at analyzing body types andthen move on to nutritional needs for various types of sports. The authors obviously have done their research. I plan on giving one to each of my childrens' coaches, from wrestling, to soccer, tennis and lacrosse as this is the type of information that will prevent problems and help your child perform at their peak. The weight loss part is for me, but critical if you have a wrestler. Buy one now and one for your child's coach as a gift - I recommend it!
